Corrado MEOTTI
Founder and president of FirstFlora.
Born in Milan, lived in Rome and London he now resides at Itacaré in Brazil. An environmentalist all of his life, a photographer and cinematographer for 20 years, he has travelled and worked in 36 countries. One of his hobbies is kite surfing.
His goal is to create the “Unit Trust FirstFlora.” A Purpose Trust that makes the protection of the Reserva Natural Janaina sustainable financially for the organisation and for the sponsors, giving worth to the conservation of biodiversity.
He personally and passionately follows the little organic plantation of cocoa, cashew, guarana and coffee in the shade of the forest. The proceeds finance the strict protection of the Reserva Natural Janaina.

He is responsible for the Reserva natural Janaina. Third-generation native of the region, with Almiro nothing goes unnoticed, he has a great knowledge of flora and fauna, and is an excellent guide.
Jose Alberto DE OLIVEIRA

Tireless and attentive. The brother of Almiro, Jose Alberto sometimes does not speak for days. He has six children.

Has 60 years of experience in growing cocoa, a true expert in the production of cocoa with the Cabruca system.

Started working in 1976 in Streglio where he learned the art from old chocolate makers. In 2003 he founded the Domori. Today he follows with passion and dedication the hand made processing of FirstFlora chocolate. Energetic and purposeful never fails to pop into the cocoa plantation.
