Day 1
Salvador de Bahía - Janaina Natural Reserve
- Transfer by van to Fazenda Agua Boa (Good Water) 5 km from Reserva Janaina along the beautiful green road presenting breathtaking landscapes. Travel approximately 5 hours including the ferry across to the magnificent Bahia Todos os Santos (All Saints) with a stop to admire the wonderful cascade of Pancada Grande of Ituberà (more than 60 metres).
- Vegetarian Dinner and lodging at Fazenda Agua Boa. Meeting with Leo PATRIAL ornithologist and biologist who will lead the Bird watching in the days to follow.
Day 2
Bird watching Janaina Natural Reserve.
- Bird watching in the primary forest at the Janaina Natural Reserve.
- Packed Lunch.
- Observation of robbery birds in open areas
- Bird watching at sunset
- Back to Fazenda Agua Boa
- Vegetarian dinner
Day 3
Bird watchining Janaina Natural Reserve - River Lodge Pedra do Sabiá
- Bird watching in the primary forest at the Janaina Natural Reserve.
- Transfer on foot to the River Lodge do Pedra do Sabiá, on the other bank of the Rio de Contas (3 hours), passing by the waterfall Pancada Grande of Pinheiro where it is possible to have a swim.
- Packed lunch
- Accommodation River Lodge Pedra do Sabiá
- Dinner.
Day 4
Bird watching at Serra Conduru state park and to Rio Capitão Reserve
- Transfer by Land Rover (3 km) to the Rio Capitão Reserve.
- Packed lunch
- Transfer to the State Park Serra do Cóndurú and Lagoa Encantada (Enchanted Lagoon).
- Return to lodge by the river at Pedra do Sabiá
- Dinner.
Day 5
Boa Nova - Lajedo
- Transfer to Boa Nova (aprox 5 hours)
- Accommodation in simple but comfortable lodging at Boa Nova
- Bird watching in the afternoon in Lajedo
Day 6
Boa Nova
- Bird watching in the Cipó Forest
- Packed lunch
- Return to the lodging.
Day 7
Boa Nova
- Bird watching in the rainforest
- Packed Lunch
- Return to the lodging
Day 8
Boa Nova - Chapada Diamantina, Lençóis.
- Transfer to Lençóis, Park Nacional of Chapada Diamantina (about 7 hours)
- Afternoon
- Accommodation in the lodging Serrano Lençóis.
Day 9
Chapada Diamantina, Rio Ribeirao
- River Ribeirão: excursion by Lençóis along the Rio Ribeirao until the cascade(waterfall) of Sossego (about 7 km).
- Packed Lunch
- Return to the lodging.
Day 10
Chapada Diamantina
- Bird watching in the rainforest.
- Packed Lunch
- Return to the lodging, afternoon free
Day 11
Chapada Diamantina, Pratinha cave and waterfall , and Pai Inácio
- Formed from sedimentary rocks that are over a billion years ago, the cave Pratinha (cave of silver) is a beauty to take your breath away. Its abundant waters are blue and transparent and reflect from a shimmering silver bottom covered with small shells. This is the only visible part of the Rio Pratinha, which is one of the largest underground caves in Brazil with its length of 150 km.
- Packed lunch
- From the summit of Mount Pai Inacio, which is 1150 metres above sea level we will see the mountain Sincorá, Bacia and Chapadinha. An extraordinary spectacle.
- Return to the lodging.
Day 12
Chapada Diamantina, Vale do Capão and waterfall Riachinho
- Transfer from Lençóis Vale do Capão (Valley Gurnard) (2-3 hours) into catinga biome.
- Packed lunch
- The Riachinho waterfall can be reached in one hour: 10 metres in height that are poured on a natural levee ideal for swimming, relaxing and of course make an excellent bird watching area.
- Accommodation at the Lodging do Capao.
Day 13
Chapada Diamantina, waterfall of Fumaça, Poço Angélica and cascade Purificação
- waterfall of Fumaça, 380 metres in free fall, is the second highest in the world after Angel Falls in Venezuela. In times of drought from May to September, it has little water and wind blows the drops that form the famous "smoke". The path leading to the fall has its origin in the diamond mines of the last century scattered throughout the region have great ornithological interest.
- Packed Lunch
- Well Angélica and cascade Purificação
- Three hours of bird watching through the valley of Capão to the waterfall of Purificação (cascade of Purification).
- Return to the Lodging.

Vale do Capao - Salvador
- Transfer from the Chapada Diamantina to Salvador (about 7-8 hours)
